no its a 0 star..This knife is a joke,I have always been a cold steel fan ,my favorite working blade is a 14 year old trailmaster bowie,to even stamp the cold steel name one this piece of $#%@ is a shame ,the blade is thin it bends out of shape ,and the bigest thing that pissed me off is the sheath that they are showing here IS NOT the one that will be sent, notice the two snaps on the scabbard so it can be attached to a strap for travel or on your web gear,that aint the one you get.....I had my doubts, you really do GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR..this thing Sucks |

After sharpening the machete to a decent finish . I noticed that sliding the machete in and out of the sheath it cut through the back of the Nylon sheath !
